To the wonderful dogs we have met
Who have inspired us
And taught us
Strength, Courage, Tenderness, Love.
Many who have gone to good homes
Some we have lost along the way
But we have cherished each one of you
Our precious dears,
Cried with most
Laughed with all.
Our beloved dogs, we salute you
For bringing out the best in us.

Wherever you are
For it was our God who laid the plans

We love the words of this song as we need to believe that our strays can hold on, will hold on while we race against time to help them in the situation they are in.

It is hard to wait and to hold, we know, but they have to because we believe they are there for a reason. All of them are deserving, deserving for a good home. We pray with them that they can go home, one day.

"Words are swaying
Somebody is praying
Please let us come home to stay"

We also need to hear this song for ourselves, as feeders and rescuers and as re-homers that we need to work together, to hold together. No time for friction or fraction. This cause is for them, our strays, our beloved dogs, not for us. It is never for us. This blog carries no name. Holds no person. Is anonymous. As it should be. This is all about them, each and every dog we have rescued or couldn't. Each and every one that we have fed or couldn't. Each and every one we have seen survived and also lost.

This is theirs. This blog, this entirety, their story. We are just their voice and their tears. We take no pride, we take no shame. We tell it as we see, as it is. As each story is written, tears have been shed, some in joy and some in sorrow and some in anguish and anger.

If this blog has touched you, help us to help them. Many of our dogs are unsponsored, many of them need permanent homes and future. If you can help them, let us know, because it is them you are helping.
